 | Gile State Forest is located on Rt 4A just east of Springfield. Relax and enjoy a quiet walk through the park, and take in the sights the park has to offer. Sunapee Lake, Little Sunapee Lake and Pleasent Lake are nearby. | |||

| The White Mountain National Forest, 780,000 acres situated in northern New Hampshire and Maine, is the home of Mt. Washington, the highest peak in New England at 6288 feet.  | Winslow State Park is home to Mt. Kearsarge at 2937', can be reached by going south from Wilmot Flat off Rt 11, or north from Warner off of Rt 11.
