![]() | Hop River State Park Trail, branching from the Air Line State Park Trail at Rt 66 near Willamantic, winds approximately 15 miles to the northwest. This river can also be seen from a canoe or kayak, with an access point near Rt 6 at Rt 32. Remember to leave with everything you brought...to preserve the veiws available! |
![]() | Rolling along near the Providence and Worcester Railroad, the Shetucket River passes by Baltic, Occum and Taftville, linking with the Quinebaug River on its way to the the Thames River. A good place to put in is just south of South Windham on Rt 203. |
![]() | Starting in Massachusettts and winding through eastern Connecticut, there are several points to access the Quinebaug river. One good point is at the Quinebaug Lake State Park Scenic Reserve on Rt 12 south of Danielson. A second is farther south on Rt 12 south of Jewett City, where it joins with the Shetucket River on its way to the Thames River. |
